About Sahana Singh

Sahana Singh is Editor of Asian Water, Asia’s leading trade magazine on water and wastewater. She graduated from Delhi College of Engineering in India. She worked for a while as an engineer in the Environment Department of HPCL Refinery in Mumbai. After winning two national essay contests, she made a career shift to writing. In 2003, she was one of the winners of the Water Media Network Journalists Competition conducted by the World Bank, and was awarded during the 3rd World Water Forum at Kyoto. More recently, in November 2008, she won the Developing Asia Journalism Awards (Infrastructure Category) in Tokyo, in which journalists from Asian countries competed.
